Governor signs felony DNA testing expansion law, as interested ex-inmates watch.

Everyone arrested on felony charges in Ohio will soon be required to give police a DNA sample from their mouth. It's a major expansion of the state's DNA testing program that legislators approved and Gov. Ted Strickland today signed into law. Supporters say it will help courts convict guilty criminals and, at the same time, free the innocent. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports that both of those aspects were personified at the signing ceremony.
