Forty years ago this week, the nation was shocked when Ohio National Guard troops opened fire on students at Kent State University. It was called "the day the war came home" and it marked a turning point in the nation's history. Mark Urycki from WKSU reports the shootings illustrated that the country was at war with itself. |
