The re-election drive of Democratic Gov. Ted Strickland and the campaign of Republican challenger John Kasich have very different views of Ohio's current business climate. But they share something in common --- an unwillingness to declare how they'd plug the projected $4 billion to $8 billion hole in the next state budget. That was obvious today as Kasich and Strickland's running mate both gave speeches to a conference of transit and planning groups in Columbus. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports. |
