Health officials hoping Ohioans will hear message about avoiding strokes and heart disease.

The Ohio Department of Health and the American Heart Association have come up with a plan to reduce the number of Ohioans who suffer from heart disease and strokes. Cresha Auck of the Heart Association says those two problems affect too many Ohioans.

The plan encourages Ohioans to change their behavior - eat more nutritious foods, exercise more often and monitor their blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
