One car fee will go up, one will go down in proposed transportation budget.
By Bill Cohen - February 25, 2011
One fee that Ohioans pay on cars would go up, and another one would go down, under a proposal that’s now under consideration in a legislative panel. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen was briefed on the idea by Joe Andrews of the Ohio Department of Public Safety.

Andrews says the overall revenue increase would go to help fund the highway patrol. The proposed change in fees is just one provision in a proposed new state transportation budget.
