Critics of ballot issue to opt out of federal health care law say it will do much more than that.

Issue 3 on the November ballot calls for exempting Ohioans from that new federal requirement that everyone must buy health insurance. Critics of the ballot issue warn that if the purchase mandate is wiped out, many positive health insurance reforms will be killed too – for example, the ability of people with pre-existing medical conditions to be covered. Still, the purchase requirement is unpopular among Ohioans, according to a recent poll --- by more than a two to one margin. Now, as Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports, critics of the ballot issue are now targeting other parts of the proposal.
