There’s now a three-way debate over Gov. John Kasich’s proposal for new taxes on oil and gas drillers in Ohio. Kasich wants to use the revenue generated by the higher taxes to pay for an overall cut in the state income tax, but his plan is being attacked from two directions. Some critics charge his new tax would be too small, while others charge it shouldn’t be enacted at all. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
