Many Ohioans and businesses collect food and money for anti-hunger organizations during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. The leader of a major food bank service in Ohio says, while shes grateful for that outpouring, this spring is proving to be a pretty tough time for hungry Ohioans. In an interview with Ohio Public Radios Jo Ingles, Lisa Hamler-Podolski, executive director of the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks, explains hunger organizations are struggling to make ends meet right now. |
