U.S. Senator George Voinovich today touts a new legislative proposal to force refiners in the U.S. to double the use of corn based ethanol. At a meeting of Ohio farm industry leaders in Columbus, Voinovich says the senate proposal would be a boost to corn farmers in Ohio and other states. |

| Voinovich says Ohio is the sixth largest corn producing state. The measure also would ban the use of a fuel additive derived from natural gas that has been found to contaminate drinking water supplies. |
