Democrats Comment on State of State Address.

When Governor Taft makes his state of the state address Tuesday February 5th, those gathered will hear his plans and promises for the coming Year. But democrats in the Ohio legislature say they won't be impressed by Any promises Taft makes. They say the Governor doesn't keep his Promises. House minority leader Dean Dipiero says Taft often Blames the Ohio legislature when he fails to deliver on his promises. But DiPiero says that's not right.

Senate minority leader Leigh Herington says Taft doesn't only blame Legislators for his failure to deliver. Herington says Taft is now trying To blame presidents of Ohio's universities for hiking tuition when it's Really the Governor's fault the schools are put in that position in the First place.

Democrats are making their criticisms as a pre-emptive strike against Taft. But Mark Weaver, the spokesman for Governor Taft, says Taft has lead the state through hard economic times by continuing vital services nescesary for Ohioans. Jo Ingles has more on this story in an interview with Weaver.
