If you think it's costing you more to operate your car than it should, you
might be right. A new study released by a trade association that represents the
concrete industry says Ohio's drivers are paying up to $150 a year more to operate
their cars than the group says they should. Tom Norris is the organization's Executive
Director. Norris says Ohio's drivers are paying more because Ohio uses faulty
road materials. |

| A spokesman at the Ohio Department of Transportation says the state is working with the trade association to determine what type of pavement should be used on the state's roads. Brian Cunningham says the state now uses a variety of materials, and he says Ohio will continue to do that in the near future. |

| Although the report estimates Ohio's roads aren't as good as they could be, it says the roads in some other states are much worse. The study shows New Mexico has the worst roads, while Georgia has the best. |
