The Ohio Parole Board has just heard arguments, both pro and con, on whether
a death row inmate should be granted clemency instead of being executed as scheduled
September 12th. It's the case of John W Byrd, convicted of murdering a convenience
store clerk during a robbery in 1983. Ohio Public Radio's Bill Cohen reports. |
