| Ohio GOP Chief Bennett Talks About Possible
Republican Sweep. |
|
By Bill Cohen - January 24, 2002 |

this election year what it did in 1998 - and that is winning all the statewide
offices: Governor, Attorney General, Auditor, Treasurer, and Secretary of State.
Still, Republican Party chairman Bob Bennett is trying not to get over-confident.
Even though incumbent Governor Bob Taft gets good marks in public opinion polls,
Bennett tells statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen that Taft isn't necessarily
unbeatable. |
