Last year, it appeared that forces backing President Bush for re-election would far outspend his critics. But a self-made billionaire began donating millions of dollars to various groups attacking the President. And now, the presidential race looks like a toss-up. That billionaire came to Columbus today and laid out the case for dumping President Bush….but he came under verbal attack himself. The setting was a luncheon, held by the Columbus Metropolitan Club. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen was there and filed this report. |
