| Law makes it easier to toss officeholders accused of felonies out of office. |

Ohio lawmakers have passed a plan that they say will make it harder for public officials who are under felony indictment to stay in office. Republican state representative Tim Schaeffer is the sponsor of that bill. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles, Schaeffer explains the proposal will do two things. State representative Tim Schaeffer expects Governor Taft will sign the new bill into law soon. |
