Ohio Attorney General Jim Petro is warning attorneys in the buckeye state to think before they make phone calls to solicit business. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio’s Jo Ingles, Petro’s spokeswoman Michelle Gatchell explains lawyers need to know they are affected by state and federal do not call laws. There’s one exception to this rule. Attorneys are allow to call Ohioans to solicit new business if they’ve had a professional relationship within the past eighteen months. |
