Republicans who’ve received questionable campaign contributions are hoping they won’t suffer politically from it. But Democrats hope the public will pay attention to the current scandal involving a huge Republican donor who gave out campaign donations allegedly bilking the state out of millions of dollars. Will this latest scandal become a political issue next year when Ohioans are deciding who should be elected to key state offices? That’s the question Jo Ingles of Ohio Public Radio recently posed to Dr. John Green, a political science professor at the Bliss Institute in Akron. |
