It appears that there’s been a noticeable shift in the political thinking of Christian evangelicals. Two years ago, three-fourths of white evangelicals voted for President Bush. But now, polls show evangelical support for the president and republicans has dropped remarkably. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports that some evangelicals are making it clear – they’re not voting down the line for conservative candidates and issues. |
