Ohio State Quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith brought a message of optimism this week to Glenville High School in Cleveland, his alma mater. Smith's football career began at Glenville, where he graduated in 2002. Today he's hailed there not only as the season's best college player on the best college team, but as a favorite son who, with a lot of help and support, made the best of the options he had as a youth. From WCPN in Cleveland, Bill Rice reports. |
