Gov. John Kasich was back on the TV news talk show circuit this weekend, and he had a few choice words for his fellow Republican candidate Donald Trump.
Kasich appeared on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday, and was asked by host Chuck Todd why he thinks Trump is leading in the polls. “I don't know how much he's working and I don't know who they're surveying and I do believe in polls like you do, but at the same time, who are they surveying? And are these people for real? I don't think so,” Kasich said.
Kasich condemned a registration system for Muslims suggested by Trump, and said experience matters in the White House – a message echoed in ads aired by his super PAC. That sparked a Twitter war with Trump that Kasich also mentioned.
