Ohioans have until the end of the day Tuesday to register to vote in the state’s primary.
There’s no question this year’s presidential race has generated a lot of buzz, a lot of interest and a lot of opinions.
But as Secretary of State Jon Husted explains, the biggest way to actually voice that opinion is to vote.
“So if you want to weigh in on who the Democratic or Republican nominee is or any of the hundreds of local issues that’ll be on the ballot and the other primary issues then you need to register,” said Husted.
Husted’s office strongly encourages people to deliver their registration form in person or by proxy to their local board of elections office.
The secretary of state's office has instructed the county boards of elections to remain open until 9:00 PM on Tuesday, February 16.
