State is Taking Largest Egg Producer to Court for Eighth Time.
By Jo Ingles - November 30, 2001
The state has filed yet another contempt of court charge against the state's largest egg farm. A spokeswoman for Ohio Attorney General Betty Montgomery says her office is asking the court to take a harder line against Buckeye Egg in this most recent filing. In an interview with Ohio Public Radio's Jo Ingles, the A-G's Stephanie Beougher explains why the state is bringing this action. There's no word yet on how Buckeye Egg will respond to this latest court action. Company officials are not returning messages left by Ohio Public Radio.
